Miss Quesie's Summer Solstice Dance Party
Today is the longest day of the year— and in Santa Cruz, where I live, it might be one of the hottest.
This can only mean one thing: Dance Party!
Rigorous, unrelenting, jam-down-your-pants, marathon.
As Mr. Brown used to say, "I am going to make you sweat."
Below is a widget of fourteen songs I've been dancing to, nonstop, for the past few weeks. It's your basic Funk African Latin Island Fever Detroit Brooklyn Lunacy.
Tell me what you think of it... and what's greasing your heels lately?

The music's great, but the good news is that I got your Feedblitz notice in a timely fashion and the Typepad functions seem to be functioning, for the reader at least. Can I uncross my fingers now? (After all, I need these fingers for the weekend.)

If you wanna dance and you like Salsa music, you have to play some Celia Cruz. One of her best songs, and she has many great ones, is Quimbara. If the beat of this song doesn't make you want to jump out of your chair and dance, you are either dead or you are Dick Cheney.

I swear, Susie. I learn more about new technologies from you than I do from Cisco. That little song widget is so cool.
