Well, men's breasts are back in the news. In a British trial, a judge has ruled that men's nipples are "not sexual," and that it's okay for a peeping Tom to ogle men's boobs, but not women's.

Thanks very much for alerting me to both "Letters" blog sites, I think it's a wonderful idea. Reasons for providing and reasons for soliciting are complicated and vast. I never thought that I would end up being a John, but then no one plans on being in a sexless marriage either. I would like to share my complicated story as well, even how I have been seeing the same sex worker multiple times and developing a good friendship from it...

What about a pre-surgery transsexual? Are his/her nipples sexual? Is the sexuality related to the genetics or to the physical appearance of the individual in question? What about a butch lesbian that could pass for a man, are her nipples sexual? Of course the biggest question of all is why the fuck is this in court to begin with?!?! Don't they have better things to do in Britain?

Oh, and that judge needs to get out more, or maybe get laid, or both.

Uh.. perhaps.. but if you read the story, the judge does a pretty good job of clarifying the intent of the law. Which of course may or may not be the proverbial ass?

drinks-after-work: Reading the story the ruling makes a bit more sense, but there is still no reason for this case to ever have seen the inside of a courthouse in Britain or anywhere else in this universe.

As for nipples or anything else being sexual, these judges haven't heard of fetishes apparently. I still think that the judges in this and many other "sex" cases need to get out more. Anything can be sexualized and if we hid the things that might turn someone on, we would all be wearing burkas and blinders. Unfortunately that would not foil the fart fetishers, OMG hide the children and for god sake's pass on the beans (pun most definitely intended).

And I'd like to know who was the idiot who brought charges in the first place? So someone liked his man boobs, get over it! What is the big whoop? Its not like the voyeur came over and groped him. This is all about homophobia, I am sure of it. Had the offender been a pretty young woman, I have a feeling that the man in question would not have been so upset.
