I am in the middle of planning a trip to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at the end of September, to give a couple talks at the MIddle Tennessee State University.
I fly in and out of Nashville, and I'm wondering if I should extend my trip a little bit do some things in Nashville while I'm out there. This is a first for me; I've never been to Tennessee, and I'm looking forward to it.
Often, with university engagements like this, I come and go from Campus without seeing any sights or meeting any "townies," but I want to become acquainted with Nashville a little while I'm there.
Should I go to any particular bookstores? Clubs? Cafes? Great food spots? Shall I record my very own original country hit somewhere, I'm Glad You're Sorry ( You Made Me Make You Cry)?
Is there anyone I should contact to organize an event in the city before or after Murfreesboro? Or maybe I should just make a date somewhere to meet fans. Please email me, or comment below, if you have any ideas. I'll be there the end of September...
Thanks!
