Blind Curves, Blind Leap, Blind Faith, by Diane and Jacob Anderson-Minshall
Hello! Let me introduce you to: "Veronica Mars meets San Francisco lesbians."
Oh, and our heroine is blind, too. Meet a San Francisco trilogy of novels from Bold Strokes Books, known for their explicit, sexy lesbian mysteries.
These are books for lovers of San Francisco. Every road, neighborhood, park, and street, were ones that I've trod on many times. Many of the characters were based on people I knew. The plots take place around the Frameline GLBTQ Film Festival, Golden Gate Bridge, Skyline Highway 35, anti-gay re-education schools, The Chronicle, the whole 7x7.
The trilogy pokes fun at lesbian clichés while at the same time being genuinely dramatic and emotional. Diane writes “sexy” well, and this is straight-up lesbian mystery literature--not stuck in the "genre"heap. You’d want to bed any one of the main characters.
All three are narrated by the honey-voiced Aiko Nakasone who also narrated the Tales of the Otori series.
